The Story Behind Tiwashi

Hey, I'm Leon. I grew up in Agadir — the big city just south of Morocco's most famous surf coast. I started surfing at Anza beach a couple of years ago, pretty late by local standards. Now I live in Berlin, but I come back to surf whenever I can.

I built this site because the information for Agadir's coast is scattered and often wrong. The surf spots are real but poorly documented. The practical questions — where to stay, when to come, how to get around — are answered differently everywhere. I wanted one honest place.

Everything here is from personal experience: spots I've surfed, routes I've driven, places I've eaten and stayed. I'm not sponsored by anyone. When I recommend something, it's because I genuinely think it's good.

Tiwashi is what it is: a guide built from memory, DMs, and hours on the beach. I add to it when something's worth adding. I update it when things change. No SEO playbook, no sponsored posts.
