About Devil's Rock (Crocro)
Devil's Rock is the go-to spot for beginner lessons in the Tamraght area. A sandy beach break protected by rocks on both sides, it picks up plenty of swell while keeping the waves manageable. Most surf camps based in Tamraght bring their students here for the first few sessions. The sandy bottom means soft landings, and the wave reforms multiple times as it rolls in, giving beginners several chances to pop up. Named after the distinctive rock formation on the south end. Gets crowded with lesson groups during peak season (October–March), but there's enough beach for everyone.
Getting There
Walk from Tamraght village or drive down — there's parking on the dirt track above the beach. Some surf camps provide transport.
